A Fintech Startup Named Khatabook Lays Off 6% Of Its Employees: 42 Employees

Again there is another start-up that has laid off. The well-known Feentech startup Khatabook’s 42 employees got laid off their total 6% of the workforce is no more. Kahtabook company said that they need to reorient the business. 

The company wants to do head-to-head competition with its competitors for that it wants changes in business. That’s why they did that layoff from their 700 workforce. 

One of the Khatabook spokespersons said.

“In line with our profitability goals, we are reorienting some parts of our business which requires us to operate with a leaner team on certain business verticals,” 

The laid off 6% employees out of 700 employees are provided with a cover of 3 months of pay that separation package helps them in finding new jobs. Not only that Khatabook also offers them health insurance extensions and job referrals. Now Khatabook is valued at $600million. After its previous funding round.
